NFL Pro Bowl
Completed: 2016 / Client: National Football League
My Skills: Large Event Graphics | Design | Production Color Checks
Project Scope
In 2016, as a junior designer at Vision Graphics, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to the NFL Pro Bowl event graphics. Following the NFL’s style guide and under the guidance of the art director, I focused on designing graphics for key areas: airport decor, beach party, and hotel lobby. I also assisted with sections of the stadium and surrounding areas. Collaborative conference calls and late-night design sessions fostered a strong team dynamic, allowing us to collectively bring the event’s vision to life visually.
My Role:
My role involved both creative and technical aspects. Translating concepts into designs and following the NFL’s style guide, all while considering color accuracy and high-quality production.
Additionally, overseeing in-house production provided unique insights. Watching graphics come off the press and making real-time adjustments was a valuable experience, enhancing my understanding of design and real-world application.
Result
While I didn’t attend in person, watching my designs come to life on television was an exciting experience. It was remarkable to observe how the visual elements I contributed were part of creating an engaging and dynamic atmosphere for the event. This perspective provided a sense of accomplishment and underscored the impact of design in the larger context of a high-profile event like the Pro Bowl.
